: Hey its me again - 

: I went to the polaroid shoot, payed the $75, shot a couple packs of film with a fantastic woman who walked me through the whole process - it was one on one - then she picked out the best 6 photos and we sat down to have a chat. All went well, and later that evening i came back for the 'Orientation' - The owner of the Portland and Spokane offices and his assistant/wife (one at a time while the other kept their adorable son occupied)spoke to me and about 4 or 5 other models and their parents... ALL of which looked very much like models - there was one girl there who was especially beautiful in that 'model' kind of way - just stunning. I was 1 of 2 men there, the other was tall and slim and very distinct looking - i could see him being a model... So all looked legit, they explained the business of having a mother agent, the opportunities in local and international work (should we be signed with Mode International), the investments on our part (starting a portfolio, comp cards, some 9X12 prints), what we can expect from them and what they expect from us...  It was great, and I am anxious to get started.  Within the next week or so I should get a call to find out whether Mode International would like to work with me - but i'm under the impression that the regional branch is anxious to work with me until international will... So all is looking good - I'm exercising, eating healthy (have been for a couple months - its really starting to show in the abs), waiting for a phone call from International (cross your fingers and pray to every God you can pronounce, folks!) and working and saving a bit of travel money in case I'm especially lucky!  questions or comments?  I'll check back often and you know i'll post it as soon as i find out!
