Roger asked me to pop in on this question (since I don't even lurk here, but do have experience in L.A.) Why don't you see if her acting agency has a print division? (a lot of them do) If they don't, then sometimes they have a print agency that they work with. I will advise staying away from Otto Models, though. Get a copy of The Agencies (they'll list acting agencies that also handle print) or The Ross Reports (though I have seen some shady modeling agencies listed in there before).
: My 5'9&1/2", 118 lb. fifteen year old daughter is interested in doing some catalog/print work. She is primarily pursuing acting and has good representation for that, and is getting some traction and a resume built up in that area.
: She had her photos updated recently, with an eye to going to some modeling open calls. She's gone to three of the largest LA area open calls, with no interest :-(
: I understand it's hard to break into modeling, just like with the acting. I suppose she should submit to some smaller agencies, to start with. What are some solid, smaller, beginner LA area agencies?
: Also, at the three large agencies they asked everyone signing in if they had experience. If someone had a look that agency was interested in, why would they care about experience?

: Thank you for any advice and directions!
