You may have found the exception. The pitch sounds a lot like a company that is more interested in scouting than getting work for models, which typically is associated with a scam. But good scams look as much as possible like legitimate agencies.

Since you've done the research and obviously want to believe they are for real, the only way to tell is to do what they ask and see what happens. Let us know.
