I took a look at the "modelsadvocate" site. It's pretty disappointing. Although it tries to give the impression that it is being an advocate for new models, it reads like it was written by a photographer who makes his money charging models for portfolios.

Some of the information on it is naive and some wrong, although a lot of it is valid also. It certainly doesn't read like it was written by someone who has much actual experience in the commercial or fashion advertising industries or in agencies. It's also pretty thin (not much "there" there).

So read it, learn (a little) from it, just don't take it too seriously.
