1. Give it a try, or

2. Do nothing.

Sure, give it a try, or better still, go see some agencies at open calls if you can. Then the pictures are of less importance.

Even so, if it works and an agency likes you, you are going to have to hire a professional photographer and have some pictures made. You can do it now or do it later, but if you want to succeed in the business, you almost certainly will have to do it.
