Need your input. My daughter, age 12, 5'9", 107lbs, got picked up at open call with well known, reputable, licensed model agency in San Francisco. THey said in new faces division, We only had a few pics. They sent us for paid test shoot. I don't think anyone was crazy about the pics. They said they wanted to get more looks to make her card strong. They are looking for free shoots so we don't have to spend a ton of $. With her age we will probably have to update at least yearly with her age/chng in looks. I hae been in frequent contact with them. THey have always been very nice. Problem is, nothing has happened since we met them in August. She called me for a free shoot in Dec., the photog said they did not get the email with our contct info, so they never called! We just met with agency few weeks ago, said they really do want her, will teach runway, etc., want more pics. My question is: Other than seeing good potential in her, why else would they string us along? THey only get paid when she gets paid. We are still waiting for more pics to make her card. I have expressed Im willing to pay for more pics, but have not been sent, she says she is on look out. THey do want her to age, will be happier when she is 13. What do you think?
